Scandinavia

Midnight sun, glaciers, fjords or northern lights. Just a few of many attractions waiting for you after arrival to countries of Scandinavian peninsula. Four countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden) are washed by four seas (Barents, Norwegian, North and Baltic sea) and are located in north of Europe.

With direct flights from Dublin to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo and a flight duration slightly over two hours (approx three hours for Helsinki) it is an ideal place to explore Viking culture, Hanseatic architecture and friendliness of local people by many means of transportation.

Whether you prefer to do sports, enjoy cultural festivals or just wandering around, Scandinavia will certainly surprise you in its own unique way.

Denmark

Although Denmark is the oldest Monarchy in the world – the Danish cultural heritage is vibrant and alive!

Denmark has always benefited from a unique stream of cultural influences: cosmopolitan culture with proud traditions in art, the ballet, opera and theatre is married with Nordic simplicity and the clean lines of Danish architecture and design.

Finland

Finland is perhaps best known for its peacefulness and beautiful nature. Vast forests, a unique archipelago and thousands of lakes present a striking mixture of wooded hills and waters.

In addition to its mystical northern nature, Finland is also a modern Nordic country with a high standard of living and advanced economy and technology.

Norway

Friendly, down-to-earth people, unique scenery, summer nights bright as day and delightful snowy winters make Norway a very special country. In summer, there are plenty of attractions and activities to keep you busy – the unspoilt open country of the Sámi people in the north and fjords, salmon fishing and festivals in the south.

Sweden

Perhaps Sweden’s greatest export is its culture and its modernity. Swedish design, music, art and literature are admired the world over.
